This website is built in memory of Antonia Louise Parkinson. It is here to show the world what they have missed, because there is truly no other girl quite like her.
A beautiful girl once stood on this earth...
She looked like us, acted like us, lived like us. She breathed like us, slept like us, ate like us. She wanted to do the things that we all want to do; see the world, work hard, and live a long and happy life.
And yet, Antonia Louise Parkinson - Toni - was no ordinary young lady. She led a life full of unique ideas, deep philosophical thinking and an amazingly complex set of morals and beliefs. She strived to stand out - in the clothes she wore, the things she said, the life she led. She had so many plans, so many ideas, and so many different ways she could have lived and been happy.
This makes her all-too-sudden departure from this world all the harder to take. Aged just 16 and a half years, Toni moved on from this world and onto the next.
On Thursday the 22nd February 2007, Antonia was knocked down by a bus on her way hom from college. The circumstances do not matter. The outcome, however, is the most meaningful and life-changing thing in the world. She died of internal injuries as a direct result of the accident a few hours later.
This site is dedicated to the life of this girl and the happiness and love she brought to the people around her. Toni may have gone, but those she has left behind can lead a life full of pride and of happiness when they remember her - when they remember a life that was so full and so promising; talented, creative, ambitious and full of vigour.
That life was tragically cut short. It is tough, and those who she held dear have found it so, but whenever we're down, and whenever we're sad, it's important to remember that we have said "Farewell" to her; not "Goodbye".
